Course Description from Catalog

Organization of problems for solution by computer methods. Familiarization with computer concepts, algorithms, data manipulation and presentation. Individual software projects. Preq: MA 106. 3 hours. (3 O)

Course Goals

The goals of this course are to

  1. Learn about data representation and presentation
  2. Develop computer familiarity and usage skills
  3. Learn algorithm development
  4. Learn a modern structured programming language (Visual Basic.Net)
